How We Do It
|
Currently, medical missions to any of the 100 plus developing countries have primarily been a band-aid approach. These short-term missions have been the norm, by a number of philanthropic agencies. This approach has mostly failed, with two billion of our plant's inhabitants still in dire need of medical care allowing 25,000 children to die each day because of a lack of quality care.
In our No More Band-Aid approach, GFH has created a number of specific initiatives to fund and solve the developing world humanitarian problems. These include, access to clean water, shelter, medical training and more. |
